.Proactively identify, target and acquire new clients and business opportunities in the market—this is a bona fide hunter role Conduct field visits, face-to-face meetings and presentations at prospective client locations (minimum 4 days in the field each week).
.Develop and drive a structured prospecting plan (cold calls, networking, referrals, industry events) to build a robust new-business pipeline. Qualify leads, map client organization structure, uncover decision makers and influencers, and create compelling value propositions.
Lead end-to-end sales cycle: pitch, proposal/demo, negotiation, closing, and onboarding hand-off.
Meet or exceed aggressive quarterly and annual new-client acquisition and
revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, delivery, operations, marketing) to shape customized solutions and ensure smooth transition from sales to execution.
Maintain CRM with accurate pipeline, forecast, activity logs and win/loss analysis.
Provide market intelligence: competitive insights, pricing trends, potential new service lines, customer feedback.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, seminars, trade shows and networking events to raise brand visibility and generate leads.
Travel as required across assigned region/territories to meet prospects and close deals.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in new-business sales (hunter role) – preferably in [specify industry/sector] and selling services/solutions.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding new-client acquisition and revenue targets consistently.
Strong field-oriented sales orientation: comfortable being out in the market ≥4 days/week, meeting clients face-to-face.
Excellent prospecting, cold-calling, presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to map complex organizations, engage senior-level stakeholders (C-suite, VPs) and win business against competition.
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales pipeline and forecasts.
Self-motivated, proactive, results-driven mindset with high energy, hustle and resilience.
Strong communication (verbal & written), influencing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory, adapt to changing client schedules and market dynamics.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, marketing or related field). Advanced degree or professional sales certifications are a plus.
Willingness to operate in a hands-on, field-sales environment (not desk-based) and thrive under a performance-based compensation model.
