What would you do Assist in the following tasks to senior colleagues in the Risk & Controls Team:

• Evaluate and document the Operating Effectiveness of the assigned controls by the defined due dates. Evaluation of Operating Effectiveness includes: o Inspecting evidence to ensure control activities are performed accurately and consistently o Documenting the findings o Concluding on the Operating Effectiveness of each internal control o For those controls assessed as ineffective, notifying the responsible party that an action plan is required
• Create reports to monitor the completion of OE Testing process.
• Report and escalate issues to the supervisor
• Develop an understanding of relevant team tools and systems Archer, W-Desk, etc.).
• Develop standard email notifications / communications to facilitate the proper and timely execution of the control's procedures (reminders, calendars
• Oversee and review the various KPIs and deliverables of Quality testing team.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies (audit methodology and risk management) and obtaining, analyzing and evaluating documentation, reports, data, flowchart etc.
• Play an active part in identifying process gaps and establishing new processes, automation with emphasis on internal controls
• Ensure all required controls are implemented, documented, and monitored to ensure full audit compliance. Anticipate, plan for, and react to risks and issues to the project, including categorizing their severity, taking into account the likelihood of occurrence, mitigation & contingency planning. Follow an agile approach that builds risk management into scrum roles, artifacts, and events and helps in continuous project delivery. What are we looking for
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 3+ years experience in a Finance or Audit function (including Accounting, Internal Audit and/or Internal Controls) Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in financial services and wealth management processes (e.g., money movement)
• Strong stakeholder management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact throughout the company
• High attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong process-related skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong Excel Skills with experience in manipulating large sets of data in Excel
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact throughout the company Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, as necessary, to meet monthly and quarterly deliverable deadlines and to provide extended-hour customer service support Roles and Responsibilities:
