Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead and drive the Loans Against Gold business in designated territories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a strong understanding of the gold loan market.
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize business opportunities and achieve revenue targets. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.Your role will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, providing performance feedback and coaching.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Identify potential clients and generate new business leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge to offer effective solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in the gold loan business.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the gold loan industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Proficiency in sales strategies and techniques, including lead generation and relationship building.
