Job Description
  • Own the end to end marketing chassis including brand P&L , demand creation , consumer acquisition and in market execution
  • Develop assets for one or more brand categories, focusing on creating tactical and reactive brand strategies and communications to enhance brand salience, awareness, and imagery.
  • Drive 360-degree brand campaigns across digital, ATL, BTL, and retail touchpoints. Lead the development of communication briefs and coordinate with creative/media agencies. Manage brand equity and ensure consistency in positioning and messaging.
  • Build long-term strategies for accelerated growth including white space launches, new channels and new portfolio launches and lead the team in execution over the short/medium term
  • Conceptualize and drive the pan india Annual Marketing Plan, including the Go-to-market plan, in alignment with category plan guidelines to achieve organization's goals.
  • Manage the brand's daily operations, including the regular monitoring of brand performance on a monthly and quarterly basis. Drive brand sales and the continuous improvement of Gross Margin.
  • Work with the cross-functional team to execute the marketing plan in the market and monitor the performance of supporting initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage marketing expenditures for the brand/category to optimize spending.
  • Assist in conducting consumer analysis, category, channel, and competitive data to assess brand performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead in market evaluation, consumer, and competitive data to establish pricing strategies and approaches for new product launches.
  • Review and analyze trends across the brand, competition, category, and consumer behavior to enhance brand equity and improve market performance.
  • Drive new launches by deploying the launch plans, facilitating customer sell-ins, conducting regular market visits and addressing legal & regulatory issues.
  • Oversee the assessment and execution of new product launches for the brand in the local market, including aspects such as positioning, pricing, placement, and prepositioning.
  • Focus on increasing the brand's value and volume market share.
  • Aid Category Lead to innovate existing products and processes, while developing new and more profitable products, SKUs, or categories in line with portfolio goals.
The Successful Applicant
  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in new product development within the FMCG sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities.
  • Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
