You will be working as Quality and Testing Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Control Manager and will be responsible for conducting testing and checking activities during the manufacturing process.
Performing tests or checking by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
Your responsibilities
• Executing the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordane with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines
• Physical pre testing activities for newly developed products to assure the quality of the product or manufacturing processes
• Assisting the team in performing all checks in the process for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Conducting shop floor operations in compliance with health and safety guidelines and reports any non compliance
• Working in close collaboration to resolve the problems and ensuring they are fully addressed by following robust root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions
• Providing feedback and advising to the engineering or R&D team on improvement opportunities in product and process design
Your background
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in related field
• Strong MV switchgear testing experience
• Excellent communication skills
