What will your day look like?
• Business Process Analysis: Understand and analyze the client's warehouse management requirements, including inbound/outbound processes, putaway strategies, picking strategies, and inventory management
• Solution Design: Design SAP EWM solutions that align with the client's business processes and requirements, considering system configuration, process mapping, and integration with other SAP modules or external systems
• System Configuration: Configure the SAP EWM module based on the defined solution design, including master data setup, warehouse structure definition, storage control, and task and resource management
• Customization and Development: Collaborate with ABAP developers or technical teams to implement custom enhancements or develop new functionalities if required
• Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the SAP EWM solution meets the defined requirements and resolves any identified issues
• Training and Documentation: Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users, as well as create documentation and user manuals for ongoing support
• Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-go-live support by addressing user queries, troubleshooting system issues, and continuously improving the SAP EWM solution based on user feedback
Skills and attributes for success:
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP Consulting experience for Junior Consultants, Minimum 6 years of experience for Senior Consultants role.
• Experience in Configuration and maintenance of business scenarios in SAP EWM.
• Good process knowledge of EWM processes like Putaway, picking, internal warehouse movement, Production staging, physical inventory, etc
• Should have hands-on experience in setting up warehouse set up with POSC, LOSC, WOCR, Wave picking, Replenishment process, Handling Unit Management, VAS, PPF, Exception Handling, etc.
• Experience/Knowledge of Integrating EWM with external systems using SAP MFS, Integration with SAP ECC, SAP QM, and PP modules
• Should have good exposure for enhancements & developments
• Should have hands-on experience in RF functionality & developments.
• Should have good exposure to preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test plans, and other documentation
• Developing and executing test plans including unit and integration testing and coordination of user acceptance testing
• Good exposure to data migration tools like Migration cockpit / LTMC / LTMOM, LSMW.
• Knowledge of master and cutover activity
• MBA, MS Degree preferred, Bachelors degree required
