About Our Client
Our client is an India-focused Operator-Investor Growth Venture Fund Platform, that houses a 'sounding board' of large operating experts to help profitably scale Series B/C companies in Technology & Consumer Platform businesses. India is now the world's third largest growth economy by PPP, as well as VC/PE market with over $100 Billion invested over the last 2 years, led by the digital economy projected to be $1 Trillion by 2025.
This is driven by over $1 Trillion consumer spend, 1+ Billion mobile phones and 500+ Million bank accounts.This fund builds on this expertise that bets on structural changes, scalable businesses and under-served markets in India. It is sector agnostic, but has identified essential solutions building India -
• Distribution (Commerce, Fintech, Agritech)
• Democratisation (D2C, Gaming, SaaS) and
• Decentralisation (AI, Creators, Sustainability) as areas of high potential, amongst others
Job Description
Fundraising
• Maintain proposal presentation templates and associated client questionnaire
• Prepare client / prospect specific proposals
• Maintain model portfolios
• Develop and maintain discretionary mandate track record and benchmarking
Reporting and Investment analysis
• Prepare and / or review client reporting materials including monthly investment statements, semi-annual investment reports and any custom reporting
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure client portfolio data is captured and uploaded into relevant reporting systems
• Prepare custom internal reporting
• Prepare Board meeting agenda and materials and prepare / review minutes thereafter
Other support tasks
• Maintain a deep understanding of the firm's product offerings, including investment philosophy, investment strategy and general portfolio constructs
• Prepare and coordinate responses to clients and prospect queries
The Successful Applicant
• MBA, Master's Degree in Finance, CA or a bachelor's degree with relevant prior experience
• 4 to 8 years of investor relations experience in the financial services industry
• Portfolio management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Global mindset with the ability to collaborate and work with teams across different geographies
• Understanding of portfolio management basics, including portfolio optimization concepts
• Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
