• Identify potential clients, maintain order databases, and update prospect list, by assisting the sales team providing essential support for effective sales operations
• Responding to vendor inquiries, scheduling meetings and sales appointments, and following up with vendors.
• Compiling a daily list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department.
• Work closely with marketing, product, credit risk and operations team
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
• Providing intelligent data or reports to the sales team basis the market research or market trends.
• Maintaining MIS for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
• Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports
• Timely submission of the reports to government and RBI.
• Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
• Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
• Review pending orders and specific customers' requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
• Suggest sales process improvements
Skills & Requirements :
• Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
• Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
• In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
