• Established by a third-generation entrepreneur from a well-known family, the fund boasts a robust investment team with a cumulative experience of over a 100 years
• With over 30 investments made to date, they are currently in the process of raising their fourth fund and are actively scouting for new investment opportunities
Job Description
• Conducting primary / secondary research on sectors to develop an in-depth understanding of the sector and form a point of view on investment attractiveness
• Identifying attractive investment opportunities for prospecting and detailed assessment
• Engaging with founders to understand businesses & business models
• Supporting deal assessment, business model evaluation and execution which includes sector research & understanding, analysis, diligence process and transaction documentation
• Tracking performance of portfolio companies, the relevant sectors & competition
• Working closely with portfolio partners and industry experts to drive initiatives on portfolio value creation
The Successful Applicant
• Experience: Candidates with 5-8 years of relevant work experience (private equity, venture capital-growth, investment banking)
• Academic Background: CA (AIR's) or MBA from Tier I institutes
High preference will be given to candidates with exceptional academic records
• Location: Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai (Can shift to Bangalore in the subsequent year if the location is a constraint)
