You will be working as IS Department Manager for Compute and Cloud Security with grade 09 and will be reporting to IS Manager & will be a part of Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily re-sponsible for the successful development and implementation of security measures for ABB in their own area of responsibility.
Protecting ABB from rapidly escalating threats, stays vigilant in combating security threats, takes charge of the organization's cybersecurity, and keeps track of existing security infrastructure to ensure systems that protect vital information are secured.
Your responsibilities
• Collaborating with the corporate IS Information Security, Corporate IS Governance Risk and Compliance, IS Consumer Excellence, IS Information Security, IS Domains, Business IS, and 3rd Party IS Suppliers to ensure understanding of existing business requirements, new service demand, security design and roadmap
• Delivering and monitoring Information Security services and solutions providing technology protection capabilities across the Cloud and Compute estate of ABB. Also responsible for managing the teams delivering Cloud Security, Infrastructure security and EDR management services
• Responsible for lifecycle of any technologies that are required to secure the cloud and compute estate from identification to implementation and managing effective partnership with OEMs and service providers of current and prospective technologies
• Implementing effective interfaces between local or corporate IS teams for all security activities and, where required, ensuring adherence to demands in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met
• Implementing department’s practice expertise leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality and reacting on business demand and develops services or solutions meeting the requirements of the business
• Managing and runs all services and underlying technologies as per the established service management frameworks
• Providing timely and accurate reporting for all security services delivery to various corporate IS or business IS functions
Your background
• Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related qualification, and/or proven capability through past employment experience
• At least 15+ years of Information Security experience with at least 5 years in leading service delivery and security operations
• Very strong skills in running security technology protection services, including end points and server’s anti-malware protection and encryption, cloud security management
• Strong experience in security services operations from design, launch and maintenance. Services across network, end point, datacenter or cloud etc
• Experience with cloud security technologies including CSPM, CNAPP etc. that are used for protecting multiple cloud estates
• Practical experience in common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
• Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate distributed, international teams, experience in building strong relationships with internal and ex-ternal stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of the following areas of technical expertise on information security management and governance, IT risk assessment and management, IT Audit, the overall context of business processes and IS technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present complex and technical issues to diverse audiences including senior management
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification required, CCSP / CCSK or other cloud certifications a definite plus. CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification preferred
