Our client is a leading speciality chemicals company. The company's products find application in various markets including agriculture, renewable energy, paints and coatings, paper and printings, metal and oil products, electrical and electronics, food and animal feed, consumer and personal care products, pharmaceuticals, plastics and rubber, automotive and construction.
They are looking for a Technical Services Manager.
Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Innovation, you will be responsible for:
• Formulating Active Ingredients into a wide range of different cosmetic products (Leave-on and rinse-off, face & body etc) and knowledge of different product forms (emulsions, water-based systems, solids, oils etc.)
• Establishing and maintaining network within the Global Care Solution (CS) team for technical exchange, co-development and to foster innovation culture.
• Establishing and maintaining technical collaboration with the Global Segments
• Interfacing with customers on technical grounds, fostering regular exchange to understand their unmet needs and delivering superior and consumer perceivable technical solutions.
• Providing technical and product training's to team members, Sales colleagues/ Customers & Distributors.
• Supporting sales organisation with troubleshooting customer technical challenges.
The Successful Applicant
• M. Tech or master's degree in chemistry/Biochemistry with minimum 10 years of experience in Application/ Technical Service lab of Personal Care speciality chemical company or FMCG
• Excellent understanding of active ingredient chemistry's, especially in designing of new formulations and application formats for personal care products.
• Ability to take decisions and convince stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
