We are seeking a passionate, flexible, skilled, eager to learn Senior User Experience Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the UX Designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging and effective designs that align with our brand and business objectives.
The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for mentoring junior designers, reviewing their work, ensuring design consistency across all projects, and contributing to the development of design guidelines and best practices. Senior designers will contribute to the thought leadership domain of the organization like writing articles, creating content etc.
He will also ensure connections with the people so that the working environment of the studio is enriching.
As a User Experience Designer, you will:
• Work hands on plus oversee the UX design process for the project, ensuring design consistency and alignment with brand and business objectives.
• Should be able to contribute to the design studio along with the project work.
• Own the design delivery of the account and manage the communication and networking with the stakeholders
• Should be able to understand the ecosystem of the account and be able to join the dots and help get a better product vision
• Ask intelligent questions to bring more clarity of requirements
• Should be able to delegate
• Should be able to decide priorities and give efforts and estimates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and QA, to create effective designs.
• Have experience of the discovery phase.
• Have thorough understanding of User Persona, journey, IA,moodboards, design systems etc.
• Design innovative and intuitive user interfaces and design strategy for web and mobile solutions, providing design deliverables such as creating wireframes, design systems or style guides, and innovative solutions to existing problems.
• Also should be able to use the latest design and prototyping tools as per project requirements.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to help them grow and improve their skills.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and techniques and share knowledge with the team.
• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, including executives and clients.
• Should contribute actively in the thought leadership initiatives like writing article, creating content, giving talks in the design events
• Helping organize design events.
Skills that we expect from you:
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
• Experience in mentoring design teams.
• Excellent design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, or other design tools.
• Knowledge of Double diamond process and methodologies.
• Knowledge of design systems.
• Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout..
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
• Portfolio of previous work must be presented incorporating UI designs and/or sketches that demonstrate an understanding of wireframing, interaction design, visual design strategy and design process.
