Project Role : Application Designer
Project Role Description : Assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Must have skills : COBOL
Good to have skills : NA
Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : BE or BTECH
Summary:
As an Application Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with COBOL and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application design and implementation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Experience on batch Monitoring, should be technically sound in JCL and batch execution.
• Good to have COBOL and DB2 knowledge.
• Experience in Incident/defect management tools like Jira, I-Trac, Service Now or Service first, BMC Remedy, etc .
• Excellent understanding of Mainframe system and batch execution.
• Incident/Problem & Change management via Service First and via coordination with multiple teams including GTIS Technology component teams and Application teams (Testing/Projects).
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Looking for good communication skills as role involves client stake holder interaction and co-ordination with multiple teams.
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management and work flexibility.
Additional Information:
• Should be ready to work in shifts.
