RKN BEACH RESORT is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Restaurant Server to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. From taking orders and serving food to ensuring guest satisfaction, your ability to deliver outstanding customer service will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
• Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Serving food and drinks to guests according to established standards.
• Providing menu recommendations and answering any questions or concerns guests may have.
• Making sure that all orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
• Handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborating with other team members to provide excellent service to guests.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry is a plus.
