You will be working as Project Engineer at global grade 16 and will be part of Motion Business Area for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for creating or modifying the pre-engineered design of equipment, systems or installations for assignments classified as low complexity by applying standard design concepts.
Your responsibilities
• Being responsible to process orders in engineering department meeting customer specifications and ABB standards
• Being responsible to deliver customer documentation, Bill of materials and all required manufacturing or procurement specifications on time and with good quality using ABB tools
• Co-ordinating with other stake holders to ensure smooth order processing and provide technical support to other departments whenever required
• Adhering to ABB code of conduct, integrity and practice the same
Your background
• Professional degree in Mechanical Design Engineer (B Tech)
• Relevant experience (3-4 years) in motors or generators design environment preferred
• Must know basics of Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)
• Having hands on experience of 2D, 3D modeling and drafting software's (AutoCAD and Unigraphics preferred)
• Knowledge of ERP software like SAP preferred
