Our client is a global conglomerate in the Retail industry with a strong presence in India.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead public affairs vertical with a thought leadership of Sustainability and E, D&I
• Along with Public Affairs, crisis management must also establish brand positioning within the market.
• Enable the business in complex situations - licences, crisis, certification, resolve issues with the authorities
• The incumbent along with Public Affairs will be working with the expansion team in policy advocacy, and public affairs strategy for both physical and digital channels.
• Proactively identify, build and maintain effective relationships with government officials and trade associations through regular interactions on policy issues and engaging self in building strategic partnerships in meeting desired policy outcomes favourable for the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
Successful Candidate:
• 10+ years of experience in Public Affairs, government relations, crisis management and policy advocacy.
• Have experience handling brand identity.
• Must also have worked with stakeholders such as NGOs, Activists and government bodies.
• Must have worked on thought leadership around sustainability and D, E&I.
• Exceptional Stakeholder management.
• Location: Currently in Bangalore or willing to move to Bangalore
