You will be working as R&D Senior Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Unit Lead and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product and development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP) by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities
• Preparing of mechanical design concept and full CAD 3D models and 2D drawings
• Preparing documentation for design review and arranging design review with stake holders and technical experts
• Preparing bill of materials and documenting for SAP release
• Supporting engineering, sales and marketing team
• Creating standard processes and tools to promote the reuse of technical solutions, innovation and productivity in team
• Working with cross functional team to meet organization’s objective
• Helping to manage technologies, platforms and intellectual property
Your background
• Master’s or bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in relevant field
• Hands-on experience CAD software for preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings
• Design and application knowledge of medium voltage (MV) switchgear, distribution transformers, low voltage (LV) switchboards, connections and auxiliary equipment to supply LV energy from MV systems
• Knowledge of prototype making and type testing related to compact secondary substation
• Knowledge of latest IEC standard 62271-202 and relevant IEC/IS standards for MV& LV Switchgear Product
