Job Summary
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring and managing large enterprise accounts, promoting networking and IT infrastructure solutions, and developing long-term customer partnerships. The role involves solution-based selling, stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise customers across targeted industries.
- Manage and grow existing enterprise accounts, ensuring repeat business and account expansion.
- Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate networking, security, and IT infrastructure solutions (e.g., switching, routing, wireless, data center, cybersecurity, cloud).
- Work closely with OEM partners and distributors to drive joint go-to-market plans, pricing and solution positioning.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity qualification, solution mapping, proposal building, commercial negotiation and closure.
- Run account planning activities including pipeline forecasting, demand generation and cross-selling potential.
- Collaborate with pre-sales / technical teams to deliver PoCs, solution demos and RFP responses.
- Track market intelligence, competition landscape and customer buying patterns.
- Strong experience in Enterprise / Corporate Sales within the SI or IT infrastructure domain.
- Proven experience in solution-based sales and handling RFPs, tenders, and large proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build senior-level customer relationships and drive strategic discussions.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering / IT preferred) or MBA in Sales/Marketing (advantage, not mandatory).
