Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for TIJ ink cartridges and inkjet printer products, including identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships.Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to align sales strategies with inventory, marketing, and customer support, as well as tracking sales performance, forecasting revenue, and preparing regular reports for leadership.
The Sales Manager will also contribute to market research, competitor analysis, and the development of initiatives to expand the company's presence in the coding and marking segment.
Qualifications- Strong sales, account management, and business development skills, with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Knowledge of coding and marking solutions, particularly TIJ ink cartridges and TIJ handheld/online inkjet printers, or the ability to quickly learn technical product details.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging with clients at different organizational levels.
- Experience in sales planning, pipeline management, and use of CRM or similar tools to track opportunities and customer interactions.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage field visits, and build long-term customer relationships in industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in B2B sales.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Previous experience in industrial equipment, printing, packaging, or related sectors is an advantage.
