Job Overview- We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Operations Manager to manage operational data related to front line engineer performance, productivity, payouts, and business KPIs. The role involves handling large datasets, maintaining reporting accuracy, validating payout data, and supporting operations teams with actionable insights.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL and Excel, along with hands-on experience in operational reporting and data management in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Data Operations & Reporting- Manage and analyze operational data related to front line engineers, productivity, attendance, SLAs, and payouts.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and operational trackers.
- Monitor key business and workforce KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership teams.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting across operations.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
- Work with large datasets from multiple systems and databases.
- Perform data cleaning, reconciliation, and validation to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies proactively.
- Validate front line engineer payout calculations and incentive structures.
- Coordinate with Finance and Operations teams for payout reconciliation and issue resolution.
- Track productivity, quality, utilization, and performance-related metrics.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Workforce Management, and Leadership teams.
- Support business reviews through data-driven insights and operational analysis.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting and operational data requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Operations, MIS, or Operations Analytics roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (mandatory).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF formulas, dashboards, and data validation.
- Experience handling operational and payout-related data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments.
- Experience with Power BI or reporting tools.
- Understanding of field operations/BPO/customer support environments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data reconciliation and operational audits.
- Basic understanding of automation tools is an added advantage.
