Job Description

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in preparation of financial statements with proper schedules and reconciliation
• Support in ensuring seamless month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are met in accordance with our internal reporting calendar.
• Liaise with operations to ensure the Reconciliations and Schedules are complete on time with qualify
• Liaise with both upstream and downstream to ensure the Accounting for entities are flawless and maintain Chart of Accounts
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and support financial reporting.
• Providing management with timely information is vital to the decision-making process

Qualifications & skills:

• Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably within the IT/Technology services industry.
• Strong understanding and practical application of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing accounting activities across multiple legal entities in a global environment.
• Proven experience with multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Ability to review, analyze, and validate financial information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reconciliation activities.
• Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new ERP systems, accounting platforms, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Sage Accounting (General Ledger module) and Power BI for financial reporting and analytics.
• Exposure to ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Prior experience working in a multinational organization supporting global finance operations.
• Additional accounting, finance, or financial reporting certifications will be considered an advantage.
