FDPL Finance Pvt. Ltd. is a Mumbai-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) operating in the BFSI and digital lending space. Understanding customer behaviour across acquisition, engagement, and retention is central to how the company designs products, campaigns, and customer experiences.
Role Overview
The Customer Insight Business Analyst will turn customer and campaign data into insights that shape marketing strategy, customer engagement, and retention. The role combines customer segmentation, behaviour analysis, and campaign performance data from tools such as AppsFlyer and WebEngage with lending data in BigQuery to build a complete view of the customer.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse customer behaviour and engagement data across acquisition, activation, and retention stages of the customer journey.
- Build customer segmentation frameworks to support targeted marketing, pricing, and engagement strategies.
- Combine campaign and attribution data from Chatbot, AppsFlyer and WebEngage with product and lending data in BigQuery to build a unified customer view.
- Analyse performance of SMS, WhatsApp, social, and paid campaigns from a customer-response and retention perspective.
- Identify drivers of customer churn and drop-off, and recommend engagement strategies to improve retention.
- Partner with the marketing team to translate insights into campaign targeting, messaging, and channel strategy.
- Present customer insights and recommendations to marketing and business leadership in clear, actionable formats.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Certifications in customer analytics, SQL, or marketing analytics tools are an added advantage.
- 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in customer analytics or marketing analytics, preferably within BFSI / fintech.
- Industry Preference: NBFC / Fintech / Banking / Financial Services / D2C.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery for customer and campaign data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with AppsFlyer, WebEngage, or similar customer engagement / attributionplatforms.
- Experience in customer segmentation and behaviour analysis techniques.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and data-storytelling skills to translate insights into marketing action.
- Good stakeholder management skills to work closely with marketing and business teams.
