Job Description
- Perform geometric design of roads and highways in accordance with international standards and best practices
- Develop and manage 3D road models using advanced design software tools
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and design documentation aligned with global standards
- Utilize software such as NovaPoint and Civil 3D for road design, modelling, and analysis
- Apply design standards such as VGU, Euro Code, DMRB, AASHTO, and other relevant international codes
- Conduct QA/QC checks by verifying design methodology, calculations, and outputs
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams for timely project delivery
- Lead and manage small teams of junior engineers and CAD technicians
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to overall project success
- Use BIM tools such as Navisworks or InfraWorks to support design coordination (where applicable)
- Continuously explore and adopt new tools, techniques, and workflows to enhance productivity
- Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations as required
- Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in all deliverables
- Work on international projects, preferably involving UK and Nordic region standards and practices
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and present design solutions confidently
