Your primary mission is to engineer, execute, and safeguard high/-precision plastic injection moulding quality control frameworks transforming raw thermoplastic polymers into high/-specification components that meet rigorous structural, cosmetic, and dimensional metrics.Acting as the "Plant Quality Anchor," you take direct execution ownership of designing inspection protocols, configuring advanced metrology tools, managing New Product Introduction layout trials, and leading root/-cause investigations into moulding failures.
Key Skills/: Expert Plastic Defect Diagnostics Mastery/: Outstanding technical ability to differentiate between defects caused by material, tooling, or machine parameters, converting physical surface problems into specific machine changes. Deep Metrology & Blueprinted GD&T Competency/: Excellent ability to read engineering blueprints with sophisticated Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing /(GD&T/) callouts, precisely matching drawing tolerances to CMM or vision system measurement techniques.
Polymer Material & Process Parameter Insights/: A thorough grasp of engineering plastics, including their rates of shrinkage, sensitivity to moisture, and the interplay between pack pressure, injection speed, and melt temperature.
