About the Role

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional with 6–8 years of expertise in Capex Procurement, Project Procurement, and Strategic Sourcing. The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement across project-led Capex categories, including Civil & Interior Works, MEP & Infrastructure, Furniture & Fixtures (FF&E), Technology & Security Systems, Branding & Signage, and Statutory Compliance requirements.

This role will initially function as an Individual Contributor (IC) with the opportunity to build and lead a team as business requirements evolve.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Vendor Profiling, Empanelment & Relationship Management
  • Drive vendor profiling, capability assessment, empanelment, and periodic supplier performance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain a robust vendor base for project procurement requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance across commercial terms, quality, delivery timelines, and service commitments.
  • Build and nurture long-term supplier relationships to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
  1. Commercial Negotiations & Cost Optimization
  • Lead commercial evaluations, quotation comparisons, RFP/RFQ analysis, and supplier negotiations.
  • Secure competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and optimal procurement outcomes.
  • Track procurement savings, cost avoidance, and value realization through structured sourcing initiatives.
  • Drive commercial discipline and identify cost optimization opportunities across procurement categories.
  1. Risk Management & Mitigation
  • Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual, compliance, supply continuity, and execution risks.
  • Conduct supplier due diligence and develop mitigation plans to minimize operational and business risks.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and governance standards.
  1. Procurement Operations & Governance
  • Maintain procurement documentation, audit readiness, and process compliance.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of sourcing records, comparative statements, negotiation notes, MIS reports, contracts, and project closure documentation.
  • Maintain system hygiene and data integrity within Oracle Fusion.
  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with Projects, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and Business teams to align procurement activities with project scope, budgets, and timelines.
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships to ensure timely execution of procurement requirements.
  • Provide commercial insights and procurement support throughout the project lifecycle.
  1. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify new products, technologies, and sourcing solutions that improve cost efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives across project procurement categories.
  • Support AI adoption and digital procurement initiatives to improve sourcing effectiveness and decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in Capex Procurement, Project Procurement, and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory. A Postgraduate qualification or Engineering background is preferred.
  • Prior experience managing a team of at least two members is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory. Knowledge of regional languages will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Retail, Hospitality, QSR, Healthcare, Wellness, Co-working, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or other project-led multi-site organizations is highly preferred.
