We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth within the Pune industrial market by identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding business across key sectors.

Requirements

This role involves driving new business acquisition, managing client relationships, and maximizing revenue through upselling and cross-selling. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of the industrial automation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries utilizing pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation solutions.
  • Expand market reach within the Pune industrial ecosystem.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business through consistent engagement.
Upselling & Cross-Selling
  • Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
  • Promote a broader portfolio of solutions to maximize revenue.
Market Research & Strategy
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
Customer Engagement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Provide product knowledge, address queries, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Networking & Lead Generation
  • Build a strong network within the industrial ecosystem to generate leads and referrals.
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Track sales performance, pipeline, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and service.
Key Requirements
  • 4–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in pneumatics, hydraulics, or industrial automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the Pune industrial market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Technical understanding of industrial products and solutions is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within Pune for client meetings and site visits.
  • Based in or open to relocating to Pune, Maharashtra.
