Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 12-15 team members. The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring high-quality performance, adherence to policies, and continuous improvement in service delivery, while fostering a positive team environment and maintaining excellent client relationships.The successful candidate should also be able to work autonomously, demonstrate a positive, “CAN DO” with solutions focused attitude and must be able to demonstrate numeracy and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Team Management & Performance:
- Supervise daily team activities to meet production, quality, turnaround time, and resource allocation objectives.
- Set clear, measurable goals and KPIs for team members; regularly review and provide feedback.
- Evaluate employee performance and implement appropriate remedial / supportive actions.
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
- Facilitate morale-building initiatives to promote team cohesion and satisfaction.
- Oversee training programs covering compliance, data protection, and role-specific skills.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and support cross-training initiatives.
Operational Oversight:
- Review daily production reports with researchers to assess progress towards goals. Identify trends and implement data-driven improvements.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific requirements, HireRight policies, and procedures.
- Assist in resource planning by discussing workload requirements with management.
- Proactively identify risks and escalate issues to management.
- Monitor and improve quality scores through audits and feedback.
- Ensure zero tolerance for compliance breaches.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and client escalations and provide guidance and resolution and implement corrective actions.
- Track key metrics such as TAT, accuracy, productivity, and backlogs.
- Prepare and present MIS reports and performance dashboards to client and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Graduate in any stream
- 3-4 years of BGV experience managing others in a time sensitive environment
- Demonstrated leadership ability in the areas of decision making, critical thinking and employee relations.
- Proven conflict management, communication skills and experience in meeting deadlines and delivery.
