In the role of Delivery Manager - Cloud Team at Principal Financial Group, you will be
responsible for leading both technical cloud engineering initiatives and end-to-end delivery management, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. This role balances deep technical leadership with strong delivery governance, people management, and stakeholder engagement.

The role drives the adoption of cloud-native engineering and FinOps practices while ensuring predictable delivery, team productivity, and high-quality outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, finance, and enterprise functions, this role ensures seamless execution, cost accountability, and business alignment.
- Promote adoption of GenAI-driven efficiencies in SDLC, cloud operations, and engineering workflows.
- Own end-to-end delivery of cloud engineering and FinOps programs, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, budget, and quality targets.
- Drive predictable delivery outcomes using Agile/SAFe methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, risks, and integration points effectively.
- Own resource planning, allocation, and utilization management, ensuring optimal team productivity.
- Conduct performance management, goal setting, and regular feedback cycles for team members.
Qualifications:
Who You are:
Education: Graduate/Bachelors Engineering degreeExperience: 10 to 13 years relevant experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, FinOps, and delivery management roles.

Core Skills- Strong expertise in cloud platform engineering and enterprise-scale delivery management.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Proven experience in Cloud FinOps practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Deep understanding of DevOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation.
- Strong capabilities in stakeholder management, reporting, and program governance.
- Ability to balance technical depth with delivery ownership and people leadership.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure

- Programming/Scripting: Python, Bash
