Role Overview
We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Specialist (B2C) who can convert interested parents into paying customers through calls, follow-ups, and personalized guidance.
This role is core to revenue growth you will directly influence enrollments and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound & outbound leads (parents who showed interest)
- Understand child's learning needs and recommend the right program
- Convert leads into paid enrollments via calls, WhatsApp, and follow-ups
- Build trust with parents by explaining learning outcomes and value
- Maintain and update lead status in CRM
- Achieve weekly and monthly conversion targets
- Coordinate with academic/operations team for smooth onboarding
- Improve conversion by giving feedback on parent objections
- Strong communication skills (English + regional language preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales (mandatory)
- Experience in Edtech sales is preferred - Tamil Speaking Candidate Prefered
- Confident in handling parent conversations and objections
- Target-driven and highly motivated
- Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and sales conversations
- Passionate about education and helping students grow
- Freshers with strong communication skills can apply
- Experience in inside sales / edtech sales / counseling is a plus
- Basic understanding of CRM tools
- Ability to build rapport quickly with parents
