Job Description
MAIN RESPONSABILITIESThe Tanium L3 Engineer acts as the highest level of operational support within the organization's EndPoint infrastructure team. The role involves handling complex incidents escalated from L2, ensuring environment stability, performing deep-dive analysis, and driving automation and optimization initiatives.The engineer will also be responsible for mentoring L2 engineers, maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to best practices across all Linux flavors.KEY ACTIVITIES & TASKS
- Deploy patch on servers , bundle, (OS, DB, Middleware…)
- Patch list management (update, creation)
- Server health checks, troubleshooting
- Adhoc report/dashboard
- Enhanced tag management
- Responsible for managing action and future requests, including automation (playbook)
- Lead advance trouble shooting and root cause analysis for Tanium incidents
- Drive improvements in performance and compliance
- Participate in change management, risk assessment and stakeholder communication
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks, in alignment with compliant standards
- Manage and prioritize the future or upcoming request
The Successful Applicant
Technical Competencies- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Primary Windows Platform expertise in general, including know how of Windows Server and Network.
- Tanium expertise is a nice to have.
- Strong experience with Tanium Core Module (Patch, Deploy, Data, Automate, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Tanium core principles like TDS, Sensors, Action Groups, Client Settings, etc.)
- Dashboarding (Data Analytics & Automation) Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics tools.
- Exposure to ITSM processes.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with a focus on uptime and optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in shift based or on call support environments
- Effective communication
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Scripting: Powershell, bash
- OS : Linux and Windows Certifications
- Certifications: TCO, TCA
