This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, market insight, and client relationship management.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement tailored investment strategies across Mutual Funds, AIFs, and PSM mandates based on client risk appetite, financial goals, and market conditions.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis of financial markets, asset classes, fund performance, and macroeconomic trends to generate actionable investment insights.
• Evaluate and recommend Mutual Fund schemes (equity, debt, hybrid), ensuring alignment with portfolio diversification and performance objectives.
• Assess AIF opportunities across categories (I, II, III), including due diligence of fund managers, strategies, and underlying assets.
• Manage and monitor discretionary and non-discretionary PSM portfolios, ensuring consistent performance tracking and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular portfolio reviews, performance updates, and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as research, compliance, and operations to ensure seamless execution and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with regulatory developments, tax implications, and industry best practices impacting investment products.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and retention initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Mutual Funds, including fund selection, asset allocation, and performance benchmarking.
• In-depth knowledge of AIF structures, strategies (private equity, hedge funds, venture capital), and regulatory framework.
• Proficiency in Portfolio/Securities Management (PSM), including portfolio construction, rebalancing, and risk-adjusted return optimization.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex investment strategies to clients.
• Strong client management and relationship-building capabilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or NISM certifications are preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in investment advisory, wealth management, asset management, or portfolio management.
• Proven track record of managing client portfolios and delivering consistent investment performance.
