Role Description The Sales Manager – Building Materials is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for driving sales of doors and related building materials, managing key customer accounts, and expanding the company's client base among contractors, builders, architects, and retailers.Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, visiting client sites and showrooms, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and negotiating pricing and contracts. The Sales Manager will track sales performance, prepare regular reports, collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, and gather market feedback to support product positioning and promotional activities.
This role involves working closely with management to develop sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and maintain strong, professional customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in building materials, construction, interiors, or related industries.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to identify prospects, manage pipelines, and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Solid negotiation and communication abilities, with confidence in presenting products and explaining technical or quality aspects to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in territory management, market mapping, and local market analysis within Hyderabad or surrounding regions.
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally for client meetings, and coordinate closely with internal teams for order processing and fulfillment.
- Comfort with basic sales reporting, use of spreadsheets or CRM tools, and monitoring of sales targets and performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
