Hybrid Mode – 3 Days Work from Office per week

Mandatory Skills: FP&A (Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis) & Financial Reporting

About the role

OGS India is seeking a with Financial Planning & Analysis – Specialist strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. This might be a great fit if you have a strong flair of analytical and accounting skills and would like to be part of a growing team.

Responsibilities:

Client Credit Risk
  • Follow up on approvals and updates of credit limits within the credit management tool (Credit Voyageur).
  • Provide information to management on client requests to extend credit terms and any new client payment term requests.
  • Follow up on adverse/negative information in the credit insurance program
Working Capital
  • Follow up on submission from agencies and assist in validation clearing
  • Run Regional working capital reports and perform follow-ups with entities (including working capital metrics Overdue Accounts Receivable, Unbilled Accounts Receivable & Work in Progress.)
  • Analyze monthly reports for distribution to management and analyzing variances and providing variance commentary to upper management.
  • Assist in completion of ad-hoc project
Cash Management & Forecasting
  • Follow up on submission from agencies and assist in validation clearing
  • Monthly/weekly analysis of cash flow including key metrics and drivers including follow up with entities on major variances
  • Analyze interest expense variances in forecast and actual vs. prior periods.
  • Run reports and distribute quarterly cash target and identify variances
Communication Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with CFOs , Regional and Global Management
Technology Skills
  • Advanced EXCEL skills ( Vlook-ups, Pivot tables)
  • OneStream and Cognos a plus
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills

Qualifications:

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:

This may be the right role for you if you have:

  • Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree in accounting or finance with 6-8 years of experience in business FP&A Operations (mandatory).
  • Having prior experience into R2R processes is (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel and ability to quickly learn any new ERP or BI Tools
  • Having Good Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Flexibility to take up different assignments and not limit oneself to specific set of activities
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
  • Flexible and Result Oriented with Strong Written & Oral Communication Skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX, MediaOcean, and Hyperion Financial Management tool is a plus
