Operations Executive (Forklift operators - Chandigarh)
Job Description
Travel across sites in Punjab (forklift operations sites) to oversee shift management, attendance, uniform standard, discipline, safety compliance.
Manage hiring, onboarding, terminations for forklift operators and staff at sites.
Maintain attendance records (Excel/Google Sheets), create weekly/monthly reports to HQ.
Handle site communications: emails, vendor coordination (uniform supplier, safety gear), internal communications with site managers.Performance management: operator productivity, disciplinary actions, escalation logs.
Basic admin support: update SOPs, site check-lists, escalate issues to senior management when needed.
Find new manpower contracts in the region.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 8 years in site operations / manpower supervision / logistics or industrial workforce management.
Strong communication skills (English + Punjabi preferred), good email & Excel competence.
Comfortable with travel across Punjab, interacting with site teams and vendors.
Ability to enforce discipline, manage shift teams, oversee uniform standard etc.
Comfortable working somewhat independently with minimal hand-holding.
Location & Remuneration:
Based in Chandigarh / Mohali but travelling across Punjab.
Provide accommodation/allowance or travel budget if significant.
Salary depending on experience (you can evaluate regionally).
KPIs:
- Attendance accuracy (>98 %), reduction in operator shift issues, uniform compliance rate, timely reporting, operator attrition rate etc.
