Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead industry research, market mapping, and client interface activities within the Industrials sector.
• Focus on core product-based industrial companies (primarily Indian) with less emphasis on services or e-commerce.
• Stay informed on emerging product trends, technologies, and market dynamics in the Industrials space.
• Participate in the end-to-end deal-making cycle for both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
• Manage client engagements across all stages of a transaction, including:
• Client meetings and presentations
• Bilateral discussions and negotiations
• Financial, commercial, and legal due diligence
• Transaction structuring and closure
• Lead preparation of mandate pitches, financial models, and valuation analyses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of mandates.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• CA (First Attempt) or MBA from a premier institute (IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS).
• CFA certification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably in the Industrials or Manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of leading and closing transactions.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, financial modeling, and valuation methodologies.
