Role Overview:
As an Analyst in the GBS Executive Advisory Program, you will support senior leaders across the US and Europe in addressing key business challenges related to Global Business Services (GBS). You'll be involved in conducting in-depth research, analyzing complex data, and producing high-quality deliverables that support client decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Analysis:
- Conduct primary and secondary research on GBS-specific topics, including location selection strategy, service management, governance models, process maturity, talent management, digital transformation, and the use of AI in GBS.
- Gather location-specific data (country/city-level) through comprehensive research.
- Analyze data to derive actionable insights for client projects.
- Client Support:
- Own and manage client deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely submission.
- Collaborate with Senior Analysts, Team Leaders, Managers, and Research Directors to support client inquiries and strategic projects.
- Develop client-ready reports, presentations, and business analysis documents.
- Internal Research & Development:
- Utilize Hackett's proprietary research and industry benchmarks to enhance deliverables.
- Participate in knowledge-building activities and contribute to the development of new advisory tools and frameworks.
- Business Development Support:
- Assist in ad hoc research and business development projects to support the growth of the advisory program.
Essential Skills:
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong background in secondary and primary research methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analytics, quantitative analysis, and research databases.
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and report generation.
- Communication & Presentation:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to create structured, error-free reports and impactful PowerPoint presentations.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic thinking.
- Capability to synthesize information from diverse sources and draw actionable insights.
- Project Management:
- Ability to manage multiple research tasks under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- MBA or Master's degree from a leading business school is preferred.
- Professional Experience:
- Previous experience in consulting, GBS, shared services, or business transformation projects is a plus.
- Exposure to global economics and cross-border business operations is advantageous.
