GENERAL MANAGER – Buying, Merchandising & Planning

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as GM – Buying, Merchandising & Planning.

• Lead end-to-end Buying, Merchandising, and Planning functions across categories
• Develop seasonal assortment, product mix, pricing, and inventory strategies
• Drive demand forecasting, OTB planning, stock allocation, and replenishment planning Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market intelligence to maximize profitability
• Ensure optimum inventory turns, sell-through, and margin management
• Collaborate with sourcing, retail operations, marketing, and supply chain teams
• Manage Brand relationships and negotiate commercial terms effectively
• Monitor category performance through MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics
• Build and lead high-performing Buying, Merchandising & Planning tea

• 10+ years of experience in Buying, Merchandising & Planning
• Strong understanding of retail/fashion/lifestyle business
• Expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, and category management
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Proven track record in driving sales growth and profitability
• Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking ability
