Digital Product Leader - Lending & Financial Services
Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of a leading financial services organisation one of India's most recognised names in lending for a senior Digital Product/Transformation role within the Technology vertical.
You will work directly within the business and engineering leadership teams, contributing to how new age lending ecosystem are designed, experienced, adopted, and scaled. The mandate spans product strategy, technology oversight, and customer experience with lending as the core domain.
What the role demands:
Technology is the foundation; not the ceiling. The right person understands how technology work at a systems level and can translate that into journeys customers actually want to use. You will need to hold the conversation with engineering, with marketing, and with the business simultaneously and make sense across all three.
- Digital product ownership for lending journeys (origination, onboarding, servicing)
- Roadmap definition and delivery in close alignment with engineering
- Customer experience and adoption strategy not just UX, but what drives usage at scale
- Build vs. buy thinking with a clear view of TCO and scalability
- Cross-functional delivery: you work in technology, but you speak marketing and business fluently
What we're looking for:
- 12–16 years of experience, with a meaningful tenure in financial services be it banking, lending, or fintech (product, not services)
- Technology is your baseline: you've worked alongside or within engineering, understand platforms, and can evaluate architecture decisions
- Track record in lending product specifically credit, home loans, LAP, personal lending, or similar
- Strong point of view on digital customer experience and what drives adoption in a regulated, trust-led category
- MBA preferred, engineering background strongly valued
