As the "Technical Firefighter and Preventive Strategist," you strike a balance between developing reliable, preventive maintenance procedures and quickly fixing unforeseen equipment malfunctions.The ideal applicant is a highly analytical mechanical or electrical engineer who can reduce unscheduled downtime, manage spare parts logistics under stringent operating budgets, and analyze complex machinery noise or data to identify its fundamental cause.
Key Skills/: Deep practical understanding of heavy industrial components, such as gearboxes, pumps, linear actuators, induction motors, variable frequency drives /(VFDs/), and pneumatic pipelines, is known as electro/-mechanical diagnostics.
Automation & PLC Navigation/: The capacity to trace instrumentation telemetry problems, verify PLC input/output /(I/O/) signal settings, and understand ladder logic schemas. Excellent structural ability to read and comprehend intricate mechanical layout blueprints, assembly drawings, hydraulic pathways, and electrical schematics is known as technical blueprint literacy.
CMMS & ERP Software Agility/: Skillful management of asset modules or digital maintenance tracking platforms in business environments such as SAP, Maximo, or Tally ERP. Analytical Metric Management/: A solid foundation in measuring operational efficiency metrics, including downtime percentages, machine reliability ratios, and overall equipment effectiveness /(OEE/).
