Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Structural Design to join our Product Development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and validating structural components for Turbo Machinery products including enclosures, base frames, and ancillary systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in mechanical design tools, and a good understanding of structural analysis and manufacturing standards.

• Develop concept and detailed mechanical designs using CREO.
• Perform structural analysis, validation, and hand calculations for mechanical components.
• Design structural components ensuring safety, durability, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, and analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Apply practical engineering and fabrication considerations during design activities.

• Strong knowledge of Strength of Materials and Materials Science
• Structural validation and simulation experience
• Knowledge of Welding Symbols & Standards – API, ASME, ANSI, DIN, ISA
• Experience in engineering drawings and detailing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Manufacturing & Fabrication knowledge
• Experience in Turbo Machinery / Heavy Engineering domain
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
