Product Development Lead Powertrain

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end‑to‑end design and development of assigned Powertrain Systems components

• Own requirements management and DVP&R for assigned systems, ensuring traceability from

• Should have knowledge of concept generation and trade‑off analysis, evaluating

• Lead detailed design and tolerance analysis, including GD&T, stack‑ups, and design feasibility

• Lead and review DFMEA and formal design reviews, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated,

• Manage design changes (ECR/ECM), ensuring controlled implementation, impact assessment,

• Experience with Design for Cost, including RFQ support, cost breakdown discussions, and

• Establish and maintain Voice-of-Customer feedback loops, using field data, warranty, and

• Oversee BOM release to PLM/ERP, ensuring data accuracy, configuration control, and

• Collaborate with cross functional team(CAE/CFD/quality/testing) to review thermal, flow,

• Working knowledge of emission norms and regulations
• Lead technical reviews with suppliers, evaluate feasibility and manufacturability, and drive

• Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution lead RCA/8D activities for issues such

• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, review their work, and support competency

development and standardization within the team
