Virtual Production Faculty

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom, lab, and project-based training in virtual production concepts, tools, and workflows.
• Teach Unreal Engine modules including scene building, procedural content generation (PCG), materials, Blueprints, lighting, and Sequencer.
• Guide students in 3D content workflows using Maya and/or Blender.
• Introduce learners to photogrammetry workflows using RealityCapture or similar tools.
• Train students in camera tracking systems such as HTC Vive Mars, Stype, or equivalent platforms.
• Support motion capture learning using Rokoko or similar solutions.
• Demonstrate real-world film camera handling and connect on-set practices to virtual production environments.
• Simplify complex technical processes into practical, step-by-step learning experiences for students.
• Mentor learners on creative problem-solving, technical experimentation, and portfolio development aligned with industry expectations.
• Stay updated with new tools, hardware, and production trends in order to keep training current and relevant.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine, especially scene building, PCG, materials, Blueprints, lighting, and Sequencer.

Proficiency in 3D workflow tools such as Maya and/or Blender.

Hands-on familiarity with photogrammetry software such as RealityCapture or comparable platforms.

Understanding of camera tracking systems, including HTC Vive Mars, Stype, or similar tools.

Exposure to motion capture tools such as Rokoko or equivalent systems.

Working knowledge of film camera operation and related production practices
