Associate, Marketing Operations – Data Focus plays a critical role in powering RIS B2B demand generation, account targeting, and sales alignment. This role combines hands‑on data management, reporting, and content governance with process optimization and strong cross‑functional coordination.
You’ll manage core operational workflows that ensure accurate and timely marketing data, compliant content, and activation-ready audience lists — all of which directly support our ability to engage target employers and buying‑committee members across the Large, Mid, and TRS markets.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves structure, precision, marketing data, and owning repeatable processes that drive measurable business outcomes.

Prospect Employer Data & Engagement Tracking- Maintain the Prospect Plan Sponsor Engagement master file (company, contact, plan, and scoring data).
- Track and log engagement from email, web, social, webinars, and third party tactics at contact and company levels.
- Apply scoring rules and monthly decay to reflect level and recency of engagement.
- Manage ongoing data hygiene including deduplication, opt-outs, bounces, and missing-field resolution.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Ops to keep CRM audience campaigns and contact records updated.
- Prepare and refresh lists for social media campaigns

Alliance Firm Submissions & Seismic Content Governance- Manage monthly collateral submission cycles for all RIS alliance firms (Ameriprise, Edward Jones, Morgan Stanley, Northwestern Mutual, HUB, Kestra, UBS, Merrill/BOA, MassMutual).
- Ensure all materials meet “good order” standards before submission.
- Track approvals, expirations, and required resubmissions.
- Upload/remove materials in Seismic and maintain tagging and approval-code accuracy.
- Coordinate with Content, Compliance, and Marketing partners as needed.

Non-Qualified Email (NQ) Delivery Reporting- Produce post send NQ email delivery reports within 24 hours.
- Pull and analyze Marketing Cloud delivery/bounce data, format summaries, and share via Wrike with Customer Care.
- Support 150–170 reports per year, with peak demand October–December.

- Intake audience list requests from segment marketers and campaign managers.
- Pull or source data (internal systems, Salesforce, data partners) and clean/format per campaign guidelines.
- Coordinate business-area review for exclusions.
- Finalize audience lists for activation and complete QA before handoff.

Seismic, Salesforce & Data Maintenance- Update Seismic content repositories based on marketing changes and approval cycles.
- Support quarterly pipeline reporting: opportunity extraction, clean up, matching to engagement, and segmentation.
- Perform semiannual and annual data hygiene cycles, including MDM screening, ZoomInfo enrichment, and CRM updates.
- Partner with Sales Ops and Data & Analytics to ensure account, plan, and contact data accuracy.

Tools, Documentation & Workflow Management- Manage work intake and tracking through Wrike or Jira.
- Maintain documentation for recurring processes and workflows.
- Recommend opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate tasks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in marketing operations, data operations, sales operations, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, text cleanup, deduplication).
- Experience with Salesforce CRM reporting and audience/list management.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for navigation and data exports.
- Ability to learn and manage tools such as Seismic, Wrike, ZoomInfo, and Marketing Cloud.
- High attention to detail; strong QA discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across a variety of business areas.
- Experience with audience management, lead scoring, or campaign/ID mapping.
- Experience with Alteryx, SAS, or other data manipulation tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise DAM systems (Seismic preferred).
- Background in financial services or B2B marketing.
- Ability to identify process gaps and propose operational improvements.
- Detail‑oriented with strong ownership of processes.
- Comfortable balancing recurring cycles with time-sensitive ad hoc requests.
- Curious, process-minded, and continuously looking for ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of marketing operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum of 43 years related work experience
