Job Description

Role 1:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring compliance with legal obligations
• Collaborate with external lawyers on IPR matters
• Ability to manage consumer disputes
• Must have experience in brand protection, data protection, risk and advisory

Role 2:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring compliance with legal obligations
• Manage the entire IPR portfolio
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters
• Register, manage, and renew trademarks, monitor and act against brand infringement, counterfeit products, and look‑alike brands
• Coordinate trademark filings

Role 3:

• Obtain, renew, and amend all required licenses, registrations, and permits; ensure compliance with central and state laws and avoid penalties due to delays or gaps
• Act as the point of contact for local bodies, government departments, statutory authorities, industry forums, and engaged agencies/consultants
• Maintain updated records of agencies and licenses; update MIS/trackers regularly and provide periodic status reports on approvals, notices, and permits to management
• Attend meetings and calls, identify compliance gaps, coordinate closures, and ensure timely fee payments and regulatory follow‑ups

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

Role 1:

• An LLB degree and CS qualification
• Proven expertise in handling legal matters within the retail industry
• Exceptional knowledge of corporate, commercial, and compliance laws
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide sound legal advice under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in handling disputes and litigation processes.

Role 2:

• An LLB degree
• Proven expertise in handling legal matters within the retail industry
• Exceptional knowledge of corporate, commercial, and compliance laws
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and agreements
• Proficiency in handling end-to-end processes for IPR matters

Role 3:

• Graduation with Liaisoning experience
• Preferable expertise within the retail industry
• Experience in obtaining and renewing licenses, permits, and approvals, coordinate with government authorities and consultants
