About Our Client

The company is a well-established entity in the chemical industry, recognised for its commitment to quality and innovation

• Lead end‑to‑end regulatory, statutory, and environmental compliance across multi‑state manufacturing operations
• Ensure compliance with central and state regulations including Legal Metrology, Insecticides Act, ODS, EC, CGWA, PESO, and DGFT
• Manage all consents, licenses, registrations, renewals, and statutory reporting with relevant authorities
• Coordinate with ministries, pollution control boards, inspectors, and government bodies for approvals and audits
• Drive environmental, safety, labour, factory, and utilities compliance across plants and expansions
• Oversee regulatory inspections, respond to notices, and ensure timely closure of audit and compliance gaps
• Manage external consultants and cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance readiness and governance
• Build a proactive compliance culture with strong systems, documentation, and continuous regulatory monitoring
• Coordinate with legal teams to address notices, observations, and non-compliances

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

• Proven experience in regulatory and statutory compliances within the chemical industry
• Exposure working with regulatory and government authorities
• Open to work as an individual contributor
• Must be open to working 6 days (alternate weeks) and travelling to the plant locations when required
