Quality Inspector Accuracy, Compliance & Excellence Job Description Responsibilities/: Dimensional and Visual Quality Auditing/: Conduct regular physical examinations of machined castings, raw materials, and completed subassemblies to ensure structural, dimensional, and cosmetic alignment.
Precision MetrologyTool Calibration/: Skillfully assemble, calibrate, and use common workshop checking instruments, such as bore dials, digital vernier calipers, outside micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and thread pitch gauges. Engineering Blueprint Translation/: Cross/-reference Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing symbols when reading, interpreting, and precisely matching physical part tolerances against intricate engineering blueprints.
In/-Process Production Line Audits/: Verify that automated machinery, tooling feeds, and operator setups maintain precise tolerances throughout long runs by conducting routine floor checks at certain production workstations. Identify structural defects, manufacturing problems, or dimensions that are out of tolerance.
