As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications.

The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic business environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to improve system stability and optimize application performance.
Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Uniface.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level packaged applications.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Good communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and incident management.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Uniface.
This position is based at our Mumbai office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
