Technology Strategy & Transformation Practice is part of Accenture Strategy and focuses on our clients’ most strategic priorities. We help clients achieve growth and efficiency through innovative transformation initiatives, redefining business models and delivery approaches.
As a Senior Manager, you will be deployed at the critical early stages of transformation programs — shaping direction, enabling teams, and embedding the practices that make transformation stick. Here are some of the key initiatives you will drive:
- Establishing Strategic Direction for Early-Stage Transformation: Partnering with senior client leadership to define transformation vision, governance frameworks, and ways of working at program inception.
- Transformation Coaching & Team Enablement: Embedding alongside client teams to coach leaders and program workstreams on transformation management best practices, decision-making structures, and accountability models.
- Agentic AI-Powered Transformation Management: Identifying and deploying Agentic AI solutions within transformation programs to automate tracking, analysis, and realization of business value.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager who brings deep expertise in Transformation Management and a hands-on track record as a Transformation Coach. The ideal candidate excels at working in the early, ambiguous stages of large transformation programs — helping clients shape direction, define how the program will be managed, establish ways of working, and build the governance structures needed to execute with confidence.
You will work closely with C-suite stakeholders, transformation leads, and program workstream owners to coach teams, embed best practices, and apply Agentic AI to accelerate program management maturity — ensuring measurable business outcomes are governed and realized throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation Coaching & Early-Stage Strategy Formulation- Orchestrate Transformation Change– Guide and orchestrate enterprise-wide change across business units in close coordination with talent/HR teams, ensuring transformation approaches are shaped to client context, maturity, and archetype — enabling the organization to own and sustain the change rather than depending on externally imposed frameworks.
- Steer Culture & Accountability – Embed transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring governance is actively practiced.
- Coach Leadership Teams – Guide senior leaders and workstream heads on transformation management principles, enabling effective decision-making, alignment, and disciplined execution.
- Build Capability – Build Transformation Management capability by enabling standard transformation orchestration guidelines, structured governance, change adoption, stakeholder alignment, and value realization to sustainably drive strategic change.
- Set up & Run TO – Set up and run Transformation Management Offices (TMO) / Value Realization Offices (VRO) for large-scale client engagements, owning governance, reporting, and value tracking end-to-end.
- Value Discovery & KPIs – Conduct and facilitate value discovery workshops to identify business objectives, key value drivers, and measurable KPIs during the business blueprint phase. Build detailed business cases for transformation initiatives, working with business and functional leaders to track and report actual performance against targets.
- Establish Program Governance – Design and embed program structures including decision cadences, escalation models, accountability frameworks, and standardized ways of working (meetings, reporting, RAID, decision registers).
- Build Playbooks & Toolkits – Develop and institutionalize transformation playbooks, toolkits, and SOPs tailored to client context and maturity.
- Facilitate Health & Risk Reviews – Lead structured sessions to assess transformation health, identify risks, and co-create corrective actions.
- Apply hands-on expertise in AI Agents and agentic architecture to automate and accelerate transformation management activities — including status tracking, risk identification, value analysis, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities within client programs where Agentic AI can meaningfully improve program governance, decision-making, and value realization speed.
- Articulate and demonstrate prior experience using Agentic AI in transformation contexts to clients and internal stakeholders, building confidence and adoption.
- Stay current with the evolving landscape of AI agent frameworks and proactively recommend their application within ongoing engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior technology leaders, architecting and guiding transformation journeys with authority and clarity.
- Apply a cross-enterprise perspective spanning business and technology stakeholders, navigating ambiguity to pursue a consistent transformation vision.
- Collaborate with internal team members — business unit leaders, process owners, and IT teams — to capture feedback, align on initiatives, and manage change effectively.
- Maintain strong internal and client relationships through consistent delivery, proactive communication, and executive-level presence.
